YOUNG TEACHER TSPU GRADUATE IS LAUREATE OF THE I DEGREE OF THE "TEACHER-speech therapist — 2021" COMPETITION

Tatiana Gonchar, a graduate of the Faculty of Psychology and Special Education of the TSPU of 2020, became the youngest participant in the professional competition of teachers-defectologists "Teacher-speech therapist — 2021" was awarded the 1st-degree laureate diploma.

The professional competition "Teacher-speech therapist — 2021", which is held in Tomsk for the second year, consisted of three stages. The first round "Pedagogical discovery" was held remotely. The participants described the methodology they use in work and also presented personal websites. At the second stage (held live), the participants had to conduct an open lesson for an unfamiliar group of children according to the structure of the Federal State Educational Standard. As Tatyana notes, this test was the most exciting for her.

“It was necessary to find the very individual approach to each child, to gain trust, not to forget about the mastering of speech material. Of course, all of these factors provoke anxiety. Later, reviewing my lesson, I noticed mistakes that, it seemed, I would never have made under other circumstances. The knowledge that we acquire at the university becomes a powerful base for future professional activities. And the most important thing is to be able to use this it for good purpose”, — says Tatiana.

Despite the fact that Tatiana is already a graduate of the TSPU, she managed to maintain warm relations with the specialists of the Department of Defectology of the Faculty of Psychology and Special Education, to whom she can still turn for help. In addition, as the young teacher admits, from time to time she turns to her lectures, which she wrote during her student years.

As a result of the second stage, six finalists were announced, who in the final round held public reports at the academic lyceum of the city of Tomsk.

Having successfully passed all the tests and showing good results, Tatiana became the owner of the 1st-degree laureate diploma of the "Teacher-speech therapist — 2021" competition. During her acceptance speech, she expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Information and Methodological Center of the city of Tomsk for organizing and conducting the competition and noted that every participant got huge experience due to non-standard situations simulated at the competition.
