TSPU IS IN THE TOP 10 OF RUSSIAN UNIVERSITIES IN THE INTERNATIONAL MULTIDIMENSIONAL RATING OF UNIVERSITIES "U-MULTIRANK".

The Tomsk State Pedagogical University improved its position in the international multidimensional ranking of universities "U-Multirank", which is carried out by the European Center for Higher Education Development together with the German Research Center of Higher Education.

According to the results of this year, the TSPU took 9th place out of 46 Russian universities. Among the pedagogical universities in the country, the TSPU remains the 1st. The high indicators of the university are noted in three of the five areas of the rating:

• educational (in terms of the number of master's students and the quality of master's programs);
• international (joint international publications);
• regional (participation in the regional development);
• international (joint international publications);<
• regional (participation in the regional development).

U-Multirank" is not a traditional ranking, where universities are ranked in a summary table, — said Vadim Yurievich Zyubanov, head of the Department of International Cooperation of the TPSU. — This is a system of multidimensional evaluation, which provides full transparency of universities. It allows us not only to evaluate the development of the university as a whole, but also makes it possible to make a selection according to specific indicators and areas. Another difference of "U-Multirank" from the classical ratings is student surveys, which are conducted anonymously among the students and allow them to express their opinions on more than 50 positions.

In addition, the Tomsk State Pedagogical University entered the Global Top 25, becoming the best in two categories: "Regional joint publications" and "Collaboration index".
