On February 12, the annual three-week Spring School of Russian Language and Culture for students from Japan began its work. fr

The school is conducted by the History and Philology Faculty together with the Department of International Cooperation.
The aim of the school is to develop further cooperation with Japanese universities, an opportunity for Japanese students to study or improve the Russian language and get acquainted with Russian culture and history.

In 2018, 15 students from Japan became students of the school.

Throughout the past week, students have successfully studied the Russian language, actively immersed in Russian culture at seminars and presentations, visited a Russian bath and took part in city events dedicated to the celebration of Maslenitsa-2018.

The school will continue its work until March 3.
