TSPU is included in TOP-3 Pedagogical Universities of Russia

The fifth annual rating of Russian universities RAEX (Expert RA) summed up the results of 2016. Tomsk State Pedagogical University has improved its results by eight positions in the overall ranking of the country's higher education institutions.TSPU is taking the 3rd  place among the all Russian pedagogical universities, being inferior only to St. Petersburg and Moscow University. The rating was compiled by RAEX Agency (Expert RA) with the support of Oleg Deripaska’s fund "Volnoe delo". The following data were used: statistics and the results of the poll among 28 thousand respondents, employers, representatives of the academic and scientific circles, students and graduates.

RAEX (Expert RA) University ratings have been published annually since 2012. The purpose of rating is to estimate abilities of Universities to provide high quality education and skills based on the educational environment and further application of the acquired skills by graduates. Rating takes into account both the statistics and the results of the polls among the employers, representatives of the academic and scientific circles, students and graduates. The rating agency RAEX (Expert RA) was the first organization in Russia and the fourth in the world, whose university rankings have successfully passed the international IREG Observatory audit - the largest association of compilers and users of ratings from more than 20 countries. In 2016 the agency has received the right to use the “IREG Approved” mark confirming that the RAEX (Expert RA) methodology for ranking universities in Russia, its training procedures and the way of results presentation meet the highest quality standards.
