TSPU unites pedagogical universities at all-Russian forum “In Tomsk”

The VI All-Russian forum of student self-government among pedagogical universities “In Tomsk” will be held between 11 and 14 of May at Tomsk State Pedagogical University. Each year starting with 2012 the forum unites hundreds of student activists willing to improve their skills in different areas. The year  will not be an exception: the forum will be attended by students from 15 pedagogical universities of Russia, including Blagoveshchensk, Krasnoyarsk, Tyumen, Barnaul, Biysk, Ufa, Omsk, Tomsk, Cheboksary, Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Moscow , Perm.

The program of the Forum is developed and implemented by students of TSPU - activists of the strongest Structure of student government in the country. The intensive four-day work is organized in seven directions, each of which includes an extensive system of topical events: Student Councils, Student Clubs / Creative Clubs, Human Rights, Media, Volunteering, Teacher squads, Patriotic education. In addition, the participants are going to participate in workshops (development of overprofessional skills for future teachers), individual and group work, team building, panel discussion, section work, interactive sites, laser tag and much more.

REFERENCE:

The All-Russian forum of student self-government structures of pedagogical universities "In Tomsk" is organized and conducted by the Tomsk State Pedagogical University with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation within the framework of the Program for the Development of Student Associations. For six years, representatives of almost all pedagogical universities of the country had participate in the forum.

The purpose of the Forum: the search for innovative organizational and methodical mechanisms for realization of the potential of pedagogical universities’ student associations to make their members capable of a special kind of professional pedagogical activity – the upbringing and socialization of children and youth by means of extracurricular, education, leisure, socially significant activities.
